Veronica Joker-Schama, MA, is a Board Certified Behavior
Analyst, a member of the Association for Behavior Analysis, and past president of the Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis. Veronica first started providing ABA services for children with autism and other disabilities in 1994. She also works with adults and children with developmental disabilities and is the Director of Appalachian Behavior Support Services, LLC. |

| Kevin Schama, Ph.D. is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and member of the Association for Behavior Analysis. He specializes in applied behavior analysis treatment of harmful behavior in people with disabilities, behavioral pharmacology, providing supervision to BCBAs and philosophical issues in behavior analysis. He is a past president of the Tennessee Association for Behavior Analysis. |

About Behavior Analysts
- Behavior Analysis is the study of behavior
- Behavior Analysts use science based approaches to treatment which produce measurable outcomes in a wide variety of human services
- Behavior Analysts help children and their caregivers prevent and reduce challenging
behavior while promoting and maintaining growth and new skills
- Board Certified Behavior Analysts have a Master's Degree or Ph. D. in behavior
analysis or closely related field. Some behavior analysts have completed minimum coursework requirements to qualify to apply for the BCBA examination and credential in addition to their graduate degree in another field.
- They have received specialized education and training in behavior analysis
- They have participated in supervised experience with another, previously qualified behavior analyst, with credentials greater to or equal to their own
- They have taken and passed a comprehensive professional examination developed and monitored by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Board Certified Behavior Analysts also participate in continuing education activities specific to behavior analysis every year
